Sage Intacct

Required Configuration Options

Follow the steps below to get the credentials you need to use the Sage Intacct connector.

The Sage Intacct source requires the following configurations:

  • Company Id - You can find this under Company > Setup > Company
  • Sender Id - Provided with a developer license. Talk to your account manager. See the Sage Inacct Docs for more details.
  • Sender Password - Provided with a developer license.
  • User Id - See the Setup instructions below for creating a user with required permissions.
  • User Password - See the Setup instructions below.

Setup

1. Enable Web Services subscription
  1. Go to Company > Admin
  2. Click subscriptions
  3. In the Applications tab, set the Web Services toggle to ON.
2. Create a Web Services User

Go to Company > Admin > Web Services Users and create a new user. This is a programmatic user that will never log in to the UI so both single-sign on and multi-factor authentication are automatically disabled.

Ensure the user is a Business user type and has Admin Privileges: Full. User ID can be Arch. Email should be the person managing the integration.

3. Create and Assign a Role
  1. Go to Company > Admin > Roles.
  2. Edit the user you created in step 2.
  3. Create a new role for the user.
  4. Add permissions for all data that you need to access.
4. Authorize the Sender ID
  1. Go to Company > Setup > Company
  2. In the Configuration section, click Company.
  3. In the Company information window, go to the Security tab.
  4. Click Edit
  5. In the Web Services authorizations section, click Add.
  6. In the Sender ID field, enter your Sender ID exactly as provided.
